1. About Locus Thrive

Locus Thrive (locusthrive.com) is a digital child development platform owned and operated by Newbee Hub. It provides parent-guided developmental screening tools and home activity programmes for children aged 0 to 16 years.

Locus Thrive is not a clinical service. It does not provide medical diagnoses, therapeutic assessments, or professional clinical advice. All screening tools on this platform are parent-completed observational tools and are intended as a general developmental guide only.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Locus Thrive, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

These terms apply to all users of locusthrive.com and any associated mobile applications.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Locus Thrive. By registering, you confirm that:

• You are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose data you are entering
• You have the legal right and authority to consent to data processing on behalf of your child
• All information you provide is accurate and up to date

4. Account Registration

To access the full features of Locus Thrive, you must create an account using your name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Please notify us immediately at contact@locusthrive.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

5. Our Services

5.1 Milestone Screening

A free parent-completed screening tool for children aged 0 to 5 years. It provides general developmental milestone guidance. Results are indicative only and are not a clinical assessment.

5.2 Discovery Screening

An 80-question parent-completed questionnaire for children aged 5 years and above, covering 13 areas of development. Results are provided as a colour-coded report. The Discovery Screening is not a diagnostic tool.

5.3 Thrive Screening

A structured deeper assessment available for purchase at Rs. 500. It builds on Discovery Screening results to identify specific areas needing support. The Thrive Screening is not a clinical assessment.

5.4 Home Activity Programme

A guided programme of home activities tailored to your child's screening results, structured in 12-week cycles. Pricing is displayed at the point of purchase.

5.5 Expert Consultations

Parents may book consultations with our team (Rs. 500) or with a specialist consultant such as an Occupational Therapist (Rs. 1,500). Consultations are for guidance purposes and do not constitute a clinical or therapeutic relationship.

5.6 WhatsApp Reminder Add-on

An optional automated reminder service delivered via WhatsApp at Rs. 50 per month. This service requires a valid WhatsApp number to be saved on your profile.

6. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely. Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (Rs.) unless otherwise stated.

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase by emailing contact@locusthrive.com. Refunds will not be issued after access to screening results or programme content has been used. Consultation bookings that have been attended are non-refundable.

7. Important Health Disclaimer

Locus Thrive is a parent education and guidance tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical, therapeutic, or clinical advice.

If you have concerns about your child's development, health, or wellbeing, please consult a qualified healthcare professional such as your GP, paediatrician, or occupational therapist. Locus Thrive screening results should never be used as the sole basis for making decisions about your child's health or education.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Locus Thrive — including screening tools, activity content, text, graphics, and logos — is the intellectual property of Newbee Hub. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of this platform without prior written permission.

9. User Responsibilities

You agree to use Locus Thrive only for its intended purpose. You must not:

• Enter false or misleading information about yourself or your child
• Share your account access with others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate any part of the platform
• Use the platform in any way that could harm other users or the integrity of the service

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish and EU law, Newbee Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Locus Thrive, including any decisions made based on screening results or programme content.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms and Conditions or if we have reason to believe your use of the platform is harmful or unlawful.

You may close your account at any time by emailing contact@locusthrive.com. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy upon closure.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or via a notice on the platform. Continued use of Locus Thrive after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
